House of Health in Sankandi

AFFC has decided to build a home for health and wellness in the village of Sankandi in Gambia, a House of Health. The building will be projected by Rolf Vilhelmson and other AFFC members, as well as Kebba NdowDarboe and Dr. Ebrima Bah, who is in place in Gambia.

Therefore, we start a collection with a goal to collect SEK 50,000 to realize this.

The considerations underlying our decision are as follows: Distance to existing clinic is far, Dr. Bah supports the healthcare in the village together with Alagie Ceesay, They will have their reception and storage in a hygienic and safe place.
A number of conditions are treated instead of long expensive and in many cases painful transportation to the clinic, where accommodation and food is also needed.
We are looking forward to promoting health in Sankandi and nearby villages. Our health program is based on education together with practical care, which is made possible by the House of Health.

Join us on the journey to a healthier life in Sankandi on our Facebook page Aspeboda Foundation For Children and on this  website.

The thermometer will show how the fundraising is progressing and we will try to follow the entire process from beginning to end with text and image and maybe video even. We hope to be ready within two years from now, ideally earlier of course, but there is a lot of things that has to work out before it rolls into place. The construction of the house, and that everyone should be satisfied, especially Alagie Ceesay and Dr. Bah. And the financing of cource.
